Tesco Mice Judgement

On the 29th of April 2011, we reported that judgement had come upon Tesco. First of all, a controversial Tesco Express store in Bristol was damaged during a protest after a squat was raided. [1]

Now Tesco Metro in Covent Garden, London, is plagued with mice. The BBC report that they have a serious mouse problem. The inspectors found the infestation along with 'dirty conditions'. They have been ordered to close the store. [2]

So what did Tesco do? They have been secretly selling halal meat and chicken to their customers. Halal meat is ritually slaughtered in accordance with Islamic law. [3]

In addition to the Halal meat scandal, there is then the tax evasion scandal. Tesco like most corporations have a complex web of companies, trusts and partnerships. When the corporations avoid paying tax then the poor suffer. [4]

In the book of Samuel it states 'Make models of the tumors and of the rats that are destroying the country, and give glory to Israel's elohim. Perhaps he will lift his hand from you and your gods and your land. 1 Samuel 6:5

Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go to the gardens, following one in the centre, who eat swine's flesh, detestable things and mice, will come to an end altogether, declares the LORD. Isaiah 66:17

As we know Covent Garden is in the centre of London, there also used to be a place called the 'sanctuary' there as well. Covent Garden used to be a blessed place, a place were fruit, veg and flowers were sold by the poor, not anymore. It was featured in many films set in London, including 'My Fair Lady' about Eliza. However, now it is a place that only the rich and wealthy can afford to go and live, the poor were driven out of their own communities where they supported each other. Covent Garden was taken over by the corporations, up the road from there is also China Town.
