Well we did say that there were new leaders coming up the ranks. Here is Dr Rama Mani from Sri Lanka talking about her contribution to the World Future Council.
Dr Vandana Shiva trained as physicist.

Dr. Shiva is a sought-after speaker at conferences all over the world. She received the Right Livelihood Award in 1993."
"Professor Rafia Obaid Ghubash is President of the Arabian (Persian) Gulf University in Bahrain."
