OCTAVIA FOUNDATION

Following on from Abba mentioning OCTAVIA here we have the Octavia Foundation that he would like us to honor. This is a special place in West London and I spent some time here in my youth. I worked in Portobello Road market on Saturdays for a little while selling clothes. Also worked in a recording studio In Notting Hill. at a later time, with the artists who were recording a TV commercial jingle. Virgin Records main office also you used to be in this area, and those that worked there were definitely tough cookies.

It is a colourful area in more ways than one. It is in this area, that the annual Notting Hill Carnival is held.

The Octavia Foundation is a community project. It is a vision to create strong and vibrant communities in central London to improve the life of individuals.
