There is a Kuwait Tyre Fire and it is being described as an environmental catastrophe. Over 5 million tyres have been set alight in a junkyard sending thick black smoke of chemicals up into the atmosphere. [1]
Such a waste when houses can be built from them.
"Remember the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when he said to me, “Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children.” You came near and stood at the foot of the mountain while it blazed with fire to the very heavens, with black clouds and deep darkness. Then the LORD spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice." Deu 4:10-12
'A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come.' Joel 2:2
That day will be a day of wrath— a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness—Zephaniah 1:15
"These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them" 2 Peter 2:17
They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.Jude 1:3
