This song is from an ethiopian/yemenite band that have had remarkably success in Israel where they live. In fact, when I was in Israel in 2006, top of the music charts were hebrew songs with arabic music. Unfortunately, the world press don't show you the success stories in Israel.
Mi'Ma'amakim means 'Out of the Depths'.
