After the UNITY gathering in Israel on May 13 2006 we were asked to honour the anniversary of UNITY DAY.
Without our knowledge in 2007 there were women organising the STANDING WOMEN campaign. A wonderful way to celebrate the anniversary of UNITY DAY.

"Standing Women will stand together across the globe every year on the second Sunday in May at 1 p.m. local time with those in their time zone. Feel free to stand with a different time zone if another hour is more convenient for you.
Please stand with us for five minutes of silence at 1 p.m. your local time on May 10, 2009, in your local park, school yard, gathering place, or any place you deem appropriate, to signify your agreement with the statement below. Please stand at a different hour with a different time zone if 1 p.m. is not your preferred time.We ask you to invite the men who you care about to join you. We ask that you bring bells to ring at 1 p.m. to signify the beginning of the five minutes of silence and to ring again to signify the end of the period of silence. During the silence, please think about what you individually and we collectively can do to attain this world. If you need to sit rather than stand, please feel free to do so. Afterwards, hopefully you and your loved ones can talk together about how we can bring about this world"

FREE HUGS CAMPAIGN STILL SOARING......

Free Hugs is the real life controversial story of Juan Mann, a man whose sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger put a smile on their face. We first heard about this campaign from a blessed one in Australia we then sent it around the world. Within days a colleague in Italy then picked up the baton and very soon he and his wife had organised the 'Free Hugs' campaign in 30 cities in Italy.
It really is amazing what one email and many tender hearted people can achieve when they work together as one.
God bless Italy, Pietro, his wife and the new addition to their family.

Yesterday was an "Adopt a Stranger" day.
This campaign was launched just before Christmas 2008.
Are you willing to adopt a stranger? Help a stranger? Give some time, energy or resources to help another?
"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'" Matthew 25:34-36

STARDUST - Jesus said 'The Time is Nigh"
A few weeks ago Jesus said 'The Time is Nigh". Last night we watched the film Stardust and the energy of the Christ was all powerful. No surprise then this is the approach to Buddha's birthday and Wesak on 8-10th May.
